Április 18-án, nagypénten a késő középkori itáliai zarándoklatok egy különleges példáját mutatta be a Kossuth Rádió Regényes történelem című műsorában Kanász Viktor. A Kutatócsoport tudományos munkatársa Kanizsai László ötszáz évvel ezelőtti, 1525-ös római és loretói útjának menetét ismertette, bemutatva, hogyan készült fel a főúr a zarándokltra, milyen kísérettel, s melyik útvonalon haladhatott és miért állt meg Loretóban.

The Fraknói Centennial series of events, which commenced on February 27, 2024, and lasted for a year, concluded on February 26, 2025, on the eve of the birthday of Vilmos Fraknói (1843–1924), former Secretary General of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, at the Central Seminary. This institution, within whose walls Fraknói, as a seminarian, decided to pursue a career as a historian alongside the priesthood, was also where he composed his first works and academic papers between 1858 and 1864.

The Vilmos Fraknói Vatican Historical Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Péter Pázmány Catholic University was established in the June of 2012 as the ‘Impetus’ Church History Research Group in the frame of the Church History Research Institute of the University founded by Rector Péter Erdő in 1999. It carries on independently the latter’s publications (Bibliotheca Historiae Ecclesiasticae Universitatis Catholicae de Petro Pázmány Nuncupatae) and researches in Rome and in Vienna, with the involvement of academic and other funding sources.
